Family Fun

Kenny and Mary are in town, so we decided to all get together for a meal. Brent and his family came as well, as Eric's, Steven and My family. We all went to Steven and Nancy's new house in Mapleton. They just moved in last Saturday and it looks great! Nana and Grandpa came and Dave and Shelly Senior. It was a lot of fun. The highlight was that next door there were a couple of horses. The kids were having a great time feeding the horses straw. All of a sudden, the horses trampled over the fence and were in our yard. Jaimi and the men all tried to catch the horses and get them back to their yard. The neighbors weren't home. It was kinda funny. The children loved having the horses so close to them. Finally a neighbor a couple of houses down saw the commotion and came over to help. Steven found some rope and they were able to get the horses back and the fence closed.

The food we ate was delicious. Nancy had cooked some roast all day and shreaded it. She also made Spanish rice and refried beans. We had lots of dessert as well. Happy Birthday Steven! It was nice being with everyone. Mom said she had 19 out of her 21 grandchildren there. Once winter hits, we can't get together as much because our homes aren't big enough for everyone to be inside.

Kenny and Mary-We hope you move up to Utah soon. It was fun being around you and we miss you and your cute kids when you're not here!
