I decided to take Miles and Hunter to Thanksgiving Point this afternoon. Mom came with us. We went to the barn first and the boys rode the ponys and we took a wagon ride. They enjoyed feeding the animals. Especially the goats. Hunter called them the "Billy Goat Gruffs."
Then we headed to the Children's Garden. They played in the water at Noah's Ark. Hunter absolutely loved that. He was soaking wet. Miles thought it was so funny how the elephants squirted water out of their noses. Miles really enjoyed playing in the lighthouse. He was the only one there for a long time, until Hunter joined him. I rested on the grass in the shade while they played in the lighthouse for maybe 20 minutes. Miles also really enjoyed running through the mazes and hiding from me. It was a fun afternoon for us. When I asked what they enjoyed the most, they said "playing in the jail."
I'm glad that the boys are able to have some fun experiences.
