Karl here. I hope to make a productive one of it the day before Christmas, and help Mimi with all that she is doing. I've been thinking alot about family history, and how grateful I am for the hard work of our ancestors. Pictured here is a possible relation through my dad's side of the family, but even if we aren't related that closely, I am grateful for his service. He was in the Utah National Guard a hundred plus years ago, and I spotted this portrait in one of the hallways one day at work. He probably didn't have any days off where he could relax the way we do.
