Snow Day

On Friday, there was no school. Karl did not have work. We woke up to a covering of white. And...our electricity went out. It made me think about how dependent I am on electricity and the conveniences that I take for granted of. I kept walking into rooms and flipping the light switch and nothing would happen.

So, we decided to bundle up, and go out to breakfast. After breakfast, we headed to a park in Provo by the temple that has a great sledding hill. The boys had fun sledding down the hill and eating the snow and even playing on the little playground.

Here is Hunter trudging back up the hill.
Here is Karl and Miles going down together.
Hunter and Miles going down together.

Both boys discovered that going down on their tummies was lots of fun.

It was perfect snowman snow. Karl built a large snowman. Hunter wanted to help. It turned out to be a great snowman.

There were these college kids who showed up with a couch with skis attached. It looked like fun.
