On Thursday, we headed up to Big Bear. Hunter and Caitlin played together the entire time. We traded Hunter for Tyler on the drive up. Aileen has a family friend who owns a cabin and has given them a key to the cabin. It was very nice of them to allow us to go there for a couple of days. It was very relaxing and fun. Caitlin and Hunter collected pine cones and played. The weather was cool but great. There was some snow on the ground. Miles and Tyler enjoyed playing board games. Miles was introduced to the game Risk and he loves it.
On Friday, we headed over to a ranger station. Watch out Hunter...the bear is going to eat off your head. We then went to the lake and let the kids take their shoes off and get their feet wet. We told them to keep their clothes dry. Well, Hunter got absolutely drenched. Luckily, I had some clothes in the car I could change him into. The water was freezing, but it didn't seem to bother the kids. I forgot my camera, so I don't have any pictures of them playing at the lake, but they had a blast.
